Love this staple in little Italy. The feel from when you first walk in and notice it is an old Victorian style home that has been converted into a restaurant, adds to the dining experience. They have managed to keep the old home feel to their restaurant ,which gives you a great dining experience. It almost feels as thoughyou have been invited to a private chef's residence for a great dining experience. Very intimate and great food! A must visit when you are in little Italy.

Nice patio, not very crowded. My friend ordered the summerlicious dinner set (33): calamari, steak and cheesecake. I ordered half scroll with salad (17). Everything tasted good and fresh :)
Had some great experiences here for breakfast however their consistency varies depending on day of the week and time of day. Decent food with only few truly unique items
Had lunch at Kalendar on a Saturday afternoon with my husband, it was pretty quiet by the patio area and we basically had the whole place to ourselves. The food was alright, nothing special nor outstanding BUT the portions were huge. Everything tasted great, I ordered a pitcher of raspberry mojito (35) and the butternut squash ravioli. The waitress came out of the restaurant once to check in on us, she was friendly but not really attentive and did not refill our cups when it was empty.
