As hostels go, this was above average. Nice common area. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. My only complaint is the mattress was not comfortable for my old bones.
This hostel is very well located and has so much potential. Unfortunately, it falls short on many points. For one, the cleanliness standards appeared to be very low. Our sheets were impeccably clean, but we found dust, an empty box of cookies and a bottle of juice under our bed. The shared shower did not have a curtain, making the bathroom floor very slippery. There were no paper towels or hand dryer in the bathrooms. Also, the front desk could not provide us with soap or an ironing board. An employee told my wife, "Sorry, we just opened."
Avoid this place. I red many bad reviews online before booking but I was desperate at the time so I booked it. 1) the description and pictures for the room and the actual room are very different. 2) the bed matress is so thin I had back pains the next day. Why would you have a mattress that thin? 3) there were women hair in the room 4) I cancelled my reservation the very next day and they only offered 15% refund. 5) for some reason the heater and the ac are on all night. Don't know why though. Very disappointed! Go book your stay elsewhere. On a positive note, the reception staff were very helpful.
Good location. No breakfast included. Food for free from other guests left.
Nothing special to say. It's clean. The towels and linens are clean. The rooms are sterile in terms of decoration. The staff was nice. If you are just searching for a place to sleep and shower this is the place for you.
After many seasons of upkeep and investment it is disappointing to be charged 's to stay in my old rooms. A widened person advised me somebody named Adrian is responsible for the declining state of the building...this to me is CURIOUS.
Cheap and cheerful. Not one of these cracked out type of places. Exceeded my expectations 100 percent and an amazing central location.
