Had a great stay when I stayed here over the summer when I visited Toronto with a friend. Everything was perfect, and we'll definitely be coming back when we visit again next year. The people running the place were incredibly kind. It's cheap and it's really close to a lot of places you'd want to visit in Toronto. Can't express how satisfied I am with the Global Guest House. -Edited to be made clearer.

A decent place to stay if you're coming from out of town. I stayed here for two nights with a colleague while we were in the area for a conference. My first time, while she had stayed here several times. The room was warm and clean and the building was quiet.
THEY LOST OUR RESERVATION! Do NOT book here, as they are liable to lose your reservation. We booked a month in advance for our vacation...would have preferred doing it through a secure website, but the guy at the front desk said we would only be able to book parking if we did it over the phone. We did that, got an email confirmation, and when we arrived after driving 9 hours from the States and crossing an international border, we found out they gave our room away!
Nice cozy rooms with personality. A tea room and a hostel-like atmosphere welcomes guests and travelers. Antonio was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive.

The location is great, but we paid for it with bedbugs out the wazoo. There was a huge infestation in our room.
Right next to Spadina metro station, very convenient. Wifi very fast. No breakfast, reasonable price. Good choice for economic traveler.
Great place. Exceeds expectations. We'll be back for sure.
