I loved Cuppa Tea Toronto for two reasons one is because of the owner she doesn't behave like she's the owner, she treats every customers in a friendly manner. Then the location is totally at a perfect place. Their pineapple buns are definitely the best item ever . If I'll ever go next I'll grab the pineapple buns.
Thank you so much for an amazing treat! I had the best time ever and tried the pineapple bun which was phenomenal. Also tried their milk tea and some of their fruity drinks. I also loved the waffle with ice cream - perfect place to go by the harbourfront as the water warms up!!! Its a MUST try place! :)
Love this place. the guy at the cash register was very nice. I bought the drink and accidently put it through to the wrong location. The guy was so nice and made me the drink anyway on the house. I end paying for the drink on the app anyway. I want to support them during this hard time with businesses having to close up. The guy at the cash register was so nice, gentle, and kind. I hope the owner sees this and know that he hired a very good employee. :)
Order the pineapple bun at your own risk! What looks like a thick slice of cheese is actually a thick slice of BUTTER. Not sure why it’s in there but just be prepared for it. Took it out and the bun was actually ok, a bit stale but otherwise not too bad. 4 stars because their coffee milk tea is actually quite good. Just....be prepared
Pineapple bun is a semi-sweet bun with a big thick slice of butter in between. Not a huge fan! Although , the hot signature milk tea was good and tasty. Might go again for the tea.
Excellent customer service, friendly staff and delicious tea. I highly recommend the pineapple bun with butter, its so good! I will definitely come back :)
Don't bother with their "signature" milk tea because it was so bad that I had to throw it out (which was a first for me). I grew up in HK where my dad had his own tea shop and I know the difference between a good and a bad milk tea - this one was undrinkable. The tea was stale and the tapioca tasted like erasers. If you watch the barista closely you can also see that the tea was already a day old (today is May 13, the tea was labeled May 12). Everything was pre-made from who knows how long ago and mixed on order which you can definitely taste. For example, the tapioca from this place was probably made the day prior because a good bbt places would usually make a fresh batch every 2 hours which was not the case with Cuppa. All in all, I am just thoroughly disappointed because they branded themselves as an authentic Hong Kong tea shop and it really did not do HK justice. If this place really wants to improve, it would really have to put in more effort in having fresher ingredients and adapting their recipe/process from other bbt places. I cannot comment on the food as the drink was the only thing I had.
