Puddles did have mites in his ears. He was scratching a lot and now he’s on medication. However my adoption experience was great. The volunteers were very responsible and helpful. The interview was great, I was very happy to answer all the questions because I know they are trying to find a good home for these cats. Rescuing cats is not easy. It requires a lot of resources and patience. They’re doing a decent job here.

2 years already I have adopted my fosters and I cannot be happier! I love my girls so much and had a very good experience with TCR as a foster home and also through the adoption process. Being a foster mom is the best decision I've made, I got to know the cats personality and behavior prior and ended up with a match made in heaven! Please give a chance to these kitties, even if they are \grown ups\ or had a rough life!

It's such a shame that there are supposedly all these cats who need homes, and there are people who are interested in given them a home who are ghosted when they try to adopt. They say they will call you back within 24 hours. It has been 4 days and radio silence. I called and emailed. I wouldn't be upset as I know it is a volunteer run organization, and I am sure they do good work, but don't SAY ON YOUR VOICEMAIL that you will call people back within 24 hours and that the animals ;urgently' need homes and then blatantly not get back to people. It's shameful. All the 5 star reviews are obviously from the handful of people who got a response. I'm sick of all these preachy people saying 'adopt don't shop'. I have been trying to adopt a rescue animal for months from various agencies and it's virtually impossible. Either the criteria is so intense, or they don't respond to you at all. Very sad.

They were awesome. They helped me get my 17 yr old cat back. He had escaped out a window barely cracked open. Somebody held my cat in their garage for 2 days, not knowing what to do. ( I would of called Animal Services immediately, but thats me.) Finally, the Cat Rescue was called, he was taken to a vet, and the microchip company called me. No vet bill for me. Toronto Cat Rescue ( Monica) was amazing. Thanks to all involved.
