The north face is a tried and tested brand especially here in the Pacific Northwest. Whether you are looking for truly waterproof outerwear, warmth layers or under layers for 3 season wear, or if you are interested in true winter wear or climbing expedition type equipment, it’s all here. The store is located centrally on the Granville strip and right in the middle of downtown. The store is immaculate and well attended. There is good stock of most items and footwear is on sale here as well. It’s right beside any number of other retail shops as well as Nordstroms and Pacific centre right across the street. The store is a favourite for picking up just the right article for any type of weather.

Their products are excellent without a doubt and sales person whom i met have excellent technical knowledge regarding the all the products.
Helpful staff good service visited the store twice. Finally was able to find my size jacket the second time. Was helped by Alina ( Salesperson) both the times. She did recognize me and knew the jacket I was looking for, has good product knowledge and is very helpfull.
The short: - visited twice in 2020, but unlikely to visit again due to the poor staff knowledge. Will shop online instead The long: - poorest staff knowledge among multiple TNF stores visited in the USA and Canada. The staff had the least idea about the winter jackets, did not know the difference between the winter jacket types, looked at the tags for any question I asked and could not find an answer for most questions. - submitted a jacket due to warranty issues. Process was cumbersome and lacks clarity. My email was incorrectly recorded and hence I didn't receive the notification once a decision was made on my jacket. The process took 2 months. - good covid measures: sanitation station, staff wore masks, physical distancing - no dedicated parking, parking options are limited or expensive as it's downtown
