I've been taking Shingo (our 9-month old Pom) to Stanley Bark for the past few months now. Shingo is a very energetic and excited puppy (I hate to use the word anxious, but unfortunately, he gets really anxious when out and about!) He's a gentle soul with people (once they're no longer strangers in his eyes). One of the few people that made friends with him rather quickly was James. We have been taking him to SB for grooming (he always comes out looking like a true gentleman, even though he puts James under a lot of trouble, but as a professional, James knows how to treat him) and recently, he's been at the day care as well. He's rarely ever been separated from me, so it was hard for him at the beginning, but thanks to James and his wonderful staff (especially Sky) our little guy is showing more and more progress every day. From my own experience as a first time puppy mommy, I know that each dog has their own character and set of behaviours and I truly believe that just like children, they need to be put into a good and caring system in order to grow and live a cheerful life. In my opinion, Stanley Bark is able to provide that care.

James and the Stanley Bark team did an amazing job grooming our pup, Misha! We've taken Misha to other dog grooming salons but this was the first time he received the deshedding treatment. I'm so glad James suggested this because his fur type definitely needed it. Misha's fur felt so soft and lightweight, similar to when he was a puppy. We're very happy customers and will be back again soon. Thank you, James!

Lovely staff and they did an amazing job grooming our shy and nervous dog, making it seem like no problem at all. We had tried taking him to a couple of places before being recommended here and they gave up on our dog. They just didn’t know how to treat him like these guys did. My husband and I just moved to Vancouver and I had been stressing out, trying to find a new groomer for my 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer. I came across their Instagram page and loved how James grooms the dogs. This was the first place we tried and I'm so glad we did! My pup looked amazing after James groomed him and he didn't seem very stressed at all after his cut. Everyone who works there is so friendly and seems to really care about dogs. I will definitely be taking my boy back for his next cut!

My friend referred me to this place and I have to say it was was a great recommendation. At the last minute, I needed to board my dog over the weekend for one night I contacted them and they were so accommodating. Everything was so easy. I dropped off my bulldog and was on my way. During my weekend away, I even received a beautiful digital portrait of my dog! He looked like he was having a great time. Thanks again and will definitely be back.

This doggy day care is amazing. My dog loves playing with the other dogs and I know he gets two good walks. Their groomer is great, I wanted Teddy groomed a certain way and she advised against it and she was right! Their rates amore than reasonable and most importantly I know my dog will be safe.

James, Skye and Winnie treat my little monster like their own! He loves going to daycare, and they have been a HUGE help as we work on his separation anxiety. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a doggy daycare.
