Was passing by St.Cathrines and decided to eat at this place because of the high rating on google reviews but after going here I don’t see the hype. It was dead and the sushi was very mediocre and didn’t taste the best. Presentation was also not the usual. I was expecting to be served sashimi on ice as it usually is but it was served on thin slices of carrots. Very disappointed. I will say the udon noodles and the meats they serve here is better than the sushi which is odd. Price is on the good side 25.99 for dinner isn’t bad but it was not worth the quality but maybe the quantity. Also they didn’t have chocolate ice cream but they do have lycee jello and mango ice cream. If you want decent sushi come here, but if you want something amazing go else where.

It is a great place if you want to try a variety of Asian cuisine. You can choose from Japanese, Chinese, or Thai. The food is very flavourable and you receive a good portion. Prices are in line with other Chinese restaurants and even may be on the lower end of the scale. Ordered the dinner for two plus two additional dishes which came to 51 The staff are very friendly but not the quickest and speak very little English. We placed a take out order for 6pm and didn't receive our food until 6:20pm with only 6 customers in the dining room. Another notable difference is their sweet and sour chicken balls. They are small and not shaped like a ball but instead are pieces. (See picture) Will be back.to try other dishes as well.
The food here is great. We ordered the Vegetarian Platter 11.25 (veg noodles, veg fried rice, mixed veg, veg spring roll) and also the Black Pepper Steak with Onions 10.95. The food was delicious and vegetables very fresh. We had leftovers for another meal. They have all you can eat options here.
The great ocean restaurant is lovely. Their sushi is great and has different combinations of ingredients to make a roll. The Philadelphia roll has cream cheese in it. I’ve never had a roll that has had cream cheese and tasted so good. When its a humid and hot day, I would not recommend this place. Last time I checked they didn’t have an AC. Maybe it has changed I don’t know. But this place has lovely food. I would recommend this place.
I love this restaurant! Food is really good and tasty! Sushi is delicious. Always fresh! Price is reasonable. It’s definitely worth it Lunch menu and dinner menu are different and both really good. Dinner has more options and it’s also a little bit more expensive. Make sure you eat the strawberry cake at the end.

Greta food, always fresh when ordered, great selection for a great price, friendly staff. Always hits the spot with all you can eat and the awesome selection! Did I mention they have an awesome selection and great servers?
