Really great experience. I was looking to replace my car audio and had contacted several places all of whom were quick to upsell on their products. This was the only vendor who took my situation into account and also helped with the price when I mentioned that I was unemployed due to the pandemic. What a nice gesture that I could not forget. I can't say enough good things about this place! My mechanic recommended Sounds Good when I asked about changing the audio system in a used car I purchased. Ruben, the manager at Sounds Good was very helpful and suggested some options for my car. I opted to start by just changing the antiquated radio/phone system and leave the existing factory speakers. I was anticipating at best a 20 - 30% improvement - but I am blown away by how great the sound is and how this digital sound system has upgraded my car. Not only that, but the quality of the work is exceptional! My husband and I are impressed by the work done here and would not hesitate to recommend this store.
Best place to get your car stereo and alarm installed in lower mainland. Ruben is the man. He helped me choosing the best alarm and headunit for my land cruiser. Everyone in there are very friendly and helpful. Will come back again for sure and we'll recommend them to my customers and friends. I had had wireless CarPlay / wired Android Auto installed in my 2010 Inifinity EX35 back in July 2020. I have been using it for a few months now and it works like a charm (especially since getting an updated iPhone)! I was nervous to get these devices installed especially since no one I knew had done it before in this vehicle, and there was not much online in the way of instruction manuals for the devices I selected, but I gotta say... Working with Keith in the initial stages of my request, and then Ruben for the actual install was an absolute pleasure. Super professional and made me feel at ease at installing these devices even when this hadn't been done before. Devices I had installed (to clarify, I brought these devices in at my own risk): - Cartizan CP2-11 Wireless Apple Carplay and Wired Android Auto Universal Adapter with Bluetooth, USV and Video Input. - NAViKS Motion Lockout Bypass Compatible with 2008-2010 Infiniti EX35 Nav, DVD, Video Input in Motion Vim TV Free NVIM DVD - RCA connector cable (male outputs on both sides). Ruben did a terrific install. The placement of the knob that came with the Cartizan, and the activation button that came with the Naviks is perfect. Also seemlessly hid the microphone in the ceiling and dash, various Cartizan USB inputs, as well as the RCA cable into the auxillary input in the center console. Pro tip: At first I thought the install didn't work (thanks to no instructions with the devices), I learned eventually that to see the CarPlay screen you must: - Start the vehicle (atleast have in A/C mode) - Press Disc - AUX button until you are on the AUX input mode - Hold down the NAViks button for approx. 10 seconds to bypass the vehicle's VIM restriction - When you see the Cartizan menu, connect iPhone to wireless Carplay device (make sure it's already paired via Bluetooth) All this works with the stock OEM interface still intact. I will be recommending anyone else I know with my vehicle to you. Thank you!
Went into the Burnaby location to enquire about a backup camera. Was greeted by Ruben, who was polite, professional and provided exceptional service, including advice and tips on installing the camera days after the purchase... a rarity! A local shop with excellent service; nice to see.
