First time dinning here. The noodle and dumplings were good!! Not so easy to find these snacks in other places! Dishes like duck feet and intestines were also Sichuan enough! The flavour of the hot pot itself was not very impressive though. The soup in the pot looked very red and oily but the only flavour is a mouthful MSG. The service was fine, except for the cashier who asked for more tips from my friend after I told him I paid the tips for both of us. In general, kinda disappointed and will not recommend to friends.

Really good spicy hotpot. Side dishes are also tasty.
Visited Toronto for the first time from the UK and Sichuan Ren hotpot is the first hotpot restaurant I've tried here. It's most definitely the best hotpot I've had outside of China. The soup base is very authentic and there isn't a lack of available ingredients to order at all. Of course, the taste was also brilliant and the ingredients all seemed fresh so that's a huge plus. The service was also amazing, the waitresses were very attentive to the customers' needs and even played all my favourite songs during my stay after mentioning my favourite singer to them in a casual conversation. Thanks for making my hotpot in Toronto memorable!
Pricy but tasty. Spicy and oily. Loved the make-your-own-sauce bar and the jelly dessert soup. Enjoyed my dinner. Would recommend.
Mixed feelings. I had the dry pot and the skewers. The dry pot was good but I should have ordered more. The way it works is you decide which ingredients (basically same as hot pot) you want and they make it for you so it's hard to order more unless you want to wait. The skewers were disappointing and too greasy.
Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and there was barely anyone inside - always a bad sign. The buffet is pretty expensive for the limited number of items on the menu. My pork bone broth was OK. Nothing tasted terrible, but I reckon you can get more bang for your buck at one of the many other hot pot places down the street.
Definitely pricey at 26.99 a person for a shared hotpot with 2 bases and then an extra fee for the base chosen. In all, we paid 10 extra per head which probably isn't worth it for just one sitting of food. However, all the food we ate was super delicious and the service was good. Also, someone needs to update Snapchat location filter for Sichaun Ren as it doesn't show up on Snapchat.
Our go-to hot pot place! Open pretty late too so we're usually able to stop by after a day out.
