Taste not bad (not outstanding either), BUT as meat lovers, this place severely disappointed us on portion. On their menu, it indicated 1 order of meat 5 slices, so we ordered 15 orders of lamb 5 orders of beef (100 slices). But when the dishes came, they only gave us 1 plate for each meat (no more than 20 slices in total). On the other hand, we only ordered 4 orders of vegetables and mushrooms, but they came in bulk. Same problem for the 2nd round. In the end, we (2 ppl) paid for 80 for no more than 30 thin-as-paper slices of meat and lots of veggies. I would neither come back again nor recommend this place to anyone else.

AVOID! The pot came with a layer of foam bubble from dishwasher cleaner on the top. I asked waitress to change it but she refused to do so and insisted their pot is clean. The soup tastes awfully salty after asking for water refill few times.

A decent place for all you can eat hotpot. My favourite items are the fried skewers.

The best part about this place is the gigantic sauce bar. Next to that, the food is fresh, and the meat is delicious. The service is a bit hit or miss, and I really miss the skewers they had before. Decent amount of parking in the back. Place is usually quite busy, so you may have to wait for a while to get a seat. PS - Get the plum juice, you won't regret it with your meal.

The shrubs in front of the restaurant provides privacy for junkies to shoot up and discard their used needles on the ground. Other assortments of trash were also littered in the entrance - it was not a pleasant first impression. After being seated, the tables were dirty - stained with water markets and a bit sticky. We got the all you can eat menu and the first round of food was surprisingly good. I started getting my hopes up - big mistake. The service slowly decreased when we ordered seconds (server forgetting certain dishes, etc). We decided it's time to go when they brought us a platter of angus beef that looked suspiciously like pork (look at that fat) and it smelled like it's gone sour from being left out unrefrigerated for too long. If I wanted to risk stepping on needles and eating shoddy food, I would walk around DTES and go to the Balmoral. Would not recommend this place.
