hey I have heard so many good reviews about this, I finally get to come try it out Love the place very clean I like the high ceiling. The meat actually are very high quality. Love the kalbi beef. i can eat so much of them. here is all you can eat meal. there are clam, salmon shrimp, beef, pork, chicken wings, squid, lots of veggies to choose mushroom zucchini...and a lot of side dishes. There is a limit of seating, but if they are too busy, they let us take our time. The servers are polite and friendly. They would explain what the dishes were and how to grill it as we were first time. Price is reasonable for a quality food. i would come again. love the dessert too. quite a good experience

Got sat right away but we went on a Wednesday just before 6pm, this place gets super busy after 6. They have a great selection of food and its top quality, everything was delicious. Super clean restaurant and the decor was very pretty. The service was amazing!!!!!!!!! Simon was our server and he was on point, super sweet and was always around whenever we needed something. He was very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that you can't leave a tip, there is already a gratuity on the bill but it's only 12%. When we asked to leave a tip (cash) he said they weren't allowed to accept any further tips. In my opinion 12% was not enough for their service and I hope that the restaurant gives all the gratuity to their servers!

Positive: The service was great! Cindy was amazing especially for a kbbq place. She checked up on us regularly, kept our waters filled, kept the plates coming and going smoothly, etc. They also have good variety on the menu, and the creme brule was dope. Negative: it seems like the marinades are added to the meat just before serve, and you can taste that since the flavor hasn't penetrated the meat. Highly disappointed they don't have the bone in short ribs.

I must begin by saying the quality of the food at Gyubee is fantastic. I’ve been to all locations multiple times, and most recently the Scarborough location for the second time. It seriously edges out even it’s more pricey competition such as Shinta. As much as I love Gyubee, I would highly recommend you visit another location. The ordering system at this location is completely whack, and has been during both of my visits. Our waiter, Michael, was friendly and attentive to our table. However, would simply not give us the order that we want. At Gyubee when you order very little (1-3) they assume you want that many DISHES of the meat. But when you order high (5-10) they will perhaps give you one dish with that many cuts of the meat. Well at this location during our second orders, I asked specifically for 3 plates of a certain meat - Michael puts in an order for 1. I then asked for “A LOT, like 20 pieces” we get 1 plate. On our next few tries, we literally do not order anything else but this single item, saying multiple plates 3-4.... and yep, he brings one. This was extremely frustrating because 1 plate isn’t enough to fill up the grill. And when we got last called, I ordered 3 plates...... they brought 1. Simply ridiculous. One note on the quality of their food. The Black Pepper beef, normally one of their best cuts, has no pepper on it. Just a dash, where as other locations are much more generous with the amount. This has occurred both times. Staff service overall: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Staff ability to actually give you what you want: hard 1
