The rooms were probably built for pilgrims so the standards are a bit alike. I found the rooms to have no sound insulation from the corridors, every noise in the corridors - such as someone closing the door at the washroom is heard inside the room like it happens near your bed. Not to mention people talking in nearby rooms. So not exactly a quiet place. Get your earplugs. The breakfast is decent, the location is perfect with a few parking places. The train will pass every morning and pull the horn right under the windows. The dorms are at the basement with no real windows. Not many restaurants around besides a few fast food.

General accommodation for pilgrims with chapel
Gorgeous place to stop and share some warmth with other pilgrims....no fee asked for and I didnt feel like it was a place for making money from the tourist...i purchased quite a few small souvenirs and had them blessed without extra cost...there were few people when we visited (maybe 20)...but a beautiful service was held...a warm overwhelming feeling that all will be good with the world..from Brisbane Australia
Food would be ok if half priced. The food sounded good for the price, it turned out expensive for an overtly 'over salted meal because we don't know how to cook' meal. The onion soup and the poutine were too salty I could not eat them. The BBQ chicken breast was deep fried and over cooked. Too dry to eat. I understand this place might serve a lot of people and the staff works really hard. Yet the meals are not worth what they charge.
Hospitality terrific and spiritually supportive to us pilgrims in September 2013.
Disgusting spaghetti, dried up chicken, yucky soup. Flies around the tables. Never again!
For a night, abordable, clean
Nothing fancy...
