City Centre Community Association has been running recreation programs at a variety of locations in the city core since September 1993 and was registered as a society on January 5th, 1994. Since then, City Centre Community Association has steadily grown its service to the community. Programs are now managed and offered out of two facilities, City Centre Community Centre and Lang Centre. City Centre Community Centre is the main business centre for the City Centre area with Lang Centre being the primary satellite location for community programs. Excellent programming is also offered in other satellite locations including Anderson Elementary, Cook Elementary, General Currie Elementary, MacNeill Secondary School and Brighouse Park. We offer programs for all age groups from Infants and Toddler drop-in programs (Creative Play 0-5yrs old) to Children and Preteen programs (Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis, Homework Club) to Youth Programs (Leadership Teams, Hang Outs) to Seniors Programs (Out Trips, Senior Hang Outs, Drop-In Workshops).
