Located very close to Cow Bay and most of the attractions of Prince Rupert this hostel affiliated to the HI Canada group is a very reasonable and good option for the budget traveler. There are private rooms available as well. Though the rooms are small it is neat and clean and all the conveniences are provided. There is a community kitchen as well where you can cook your own food and save on expenses.

Went there before and after visiting Haida Gwaii and had great experience both times. The staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating. The place is very clean, beds are comfortable and washrooms/showers are sparkling clean. Though the place was almost full, it wasn’t noisy and I didn’t have to wait for washrooms or showers. Will definitely stay there next time I’m in Rupert.
A bit of a small bed for a couple to sleep on. But we wanted to stay in the hotel because of the historic theme. It is well taken care of.
This place is very nice. It has a great atmosphere. All the guests I've met so far have been awesome to chat with. The rooms are very basic. It's a bed with shared washroom s. They're clean and comfortable. The only thing I may have an issue with is that the walls are super thin. If that's a concern, bring some ear plugs. As well, it could use a few repairs here and there, but nothing major

I stayed in the mixed dorm room of the hostel. The beds were comfortable, the staff were accommodating, extremely clean and a great location. I can't speak for how the individual rooms are, but the hostel component was very nice.

Beautiful sunny clean room! Friendly greeting upon my arrival. I stayed in room #3 w/ private bathroom. Wonderful I am never paying for the hotels in town ever again!! Highly recommended.
