A few years ago I spend a couple of weeks straight at B!KE learning how to build a bicycle from spare parts and it's become one of my most treasured memories. The staff and volunteers we so incredibly helpful and didn't mind that I was practically living in the space and always had the time to help me out with any question I had. I haven't been living in Peterborough for the past while but stopped in the other day to buy some used parts and the support I received was exactly the same; warm, kind, and incredibly helpful! Truly an amazing space for anyone looking to learn a new skill or brush up on their existing knowledge, I'm so happy to see this place thriving!

This place is awesome. They taught me how to build a wheel and true it. I'll be back.

Nothing like it in town. community driven bike repair, all the tools you need to fix anything on a bike. knowledgeable staff and a crew of volunteers are always willing to help you with a bike problem. They have a selection of refurbished bikes to buy at a low cost and also put on knowledge building seminars for repairing and general bike info. a must check for any bike enthusiast in town!

Recently I had an amazing experience at the B!ke. Being able to fix your own bike is pretty exciting. Brian and Charlie had to help me through most of it though :). Great people. Very pleasant and helpful. I got to learn quite a lot of new things about how a bike operates. My bike was not that great to start with but it runs quite smoothly now. So thanks guys. Will definitely be going there again.

Chain fell off my bike today and after going to a few Home Mechanic Workshops at B!KE, I had the confidence to successfully attempt this myself, without walking my bike home! Basic skill, I realize, but this series, taught by Jean, has been really helpful.

I was sorta waiting for "the catch" but, there wasn't one. They're just cool people who want to help teach you how to fix your bike. If you have time to go through the process, there's no reason to drop your bike off at a shop. There's also no reason not to make a small donation to B!KE if you're able... Definitely something worth supporting.

Fantastic help and great staff. They know everything about bikes and will make sure you leave with a great deal on used bikes. Also help you fix your own for little to no charge
