I'd like to say that as amazing as the staff and facility are, and they are amazing, what surprised me most was the food. Spices and such obviously can't be used and yet the food here is incredibly good which truly helps when recovering after major surgery as I am. Kudos to the kitchen staff for doing so much with so little. I actually look forward to my meals. That said; I'm not ignoring the nursing staff at all. Such an upbeat, professional group of folks who did everything possible to hasten my road to recovery. Thanks everyone.

This is the best hospital I have ever been to in British Columbia. When I stayed here, it felt like I was staying in a hotel, with an amazing room and bathroom to myself, and great food I could order each morning. The staff are so friendly and care so well. I live over an hour away, but this is the hospital I will always be going to when I really need to go to one!

It is the best hospital that I have ever seen. Here doctors treat the patients with love and care. I have no words to say but seriously I want to recommend this hospital to cancer patients.

Wait, was not as long as other hospitals I have visited in other provinces, just due to there sorting and organization seems at a higher level. Other than that the doctor I met with was cheerful professional and made a normally bad experience better. Keep up the good work.

I attended a 24 sessions (3 months) supervised cardio rehabilitation programme under supervision by a registered nurse & a physical therapist. This site is located at the Royal Wing The 1.5 hr sessions were arrange 2x/week in a gym well equipped with threadmills, cycling bikes & rowing m/cs, pulley & leg press machines, dumbells, swiss balls etc. Each participant on 1st day is provided with a folder with a recommended program according to improving their physical condition. At the beginning blood pulse data is captured & recorded than at the end of the 1.5 hr day another data set is taken & recorded. Here one can compare how exercises improves the numbers In general the norm is (Sys) 120/80 (Dia) bpm & the heart rate (pulse) around 80. The staff is very patient, accommodating to each person and everyone is treated special individually. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Good job Sandye, Jan & Anna. A light music of rectro years of the 60-70s in background is played while we exercise however for some reason unknown, songs by ABBA seems to be bottom of their list. This is left unanswered for the moment. BTW a mimimum 2 hour parking from the ticket machine cost 2.75. Exceed the time a 20 penalty is enforced!
