Our_Futures is an interdisciplinary, student-led, academic conference hosted at Quest University Canada. This conference further builds upon the innovative culture at Quest, which is known for its excellence in undergraduate, liberal-arts education, as Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, secular university. Quest University Canada is dedicated to preparing its students to tackle the issues that face humanity and the planet in the 21st century. Our_Futures seeks to manifest that forward-thinking spirit in an event that can be shared with those who may not attend Quest but do align themselves with Quest's vision. Conference attendees will practice the ability to question insightfully. Students, experts, and academics alike will be encouraged to experiment, to dabble in disciplines that may be "outside their own"​, and to connect with people whose goal, above all, is to learn. Here at Quest, there is no such thing as a dumb question. The conference creates a space for students and the wider public to come together and discuss issues pertinent to our common future. The topics discussed span across many academic disciplines, ranging from climate change to artificial intelligence In the next edition of Our_Futures, the conference will include sub-topics called: Our_Environments, Our_Bodies, Our_Identities, Our_Cosmos, and Our_Minds.
