Taryn is hands down the most talented, driven, accommodating, and professional make-up artist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has done my make up for special events including but not limited to: my University graduation, my birthday and my CFL cheerleading game day looks. Every single time she outdid herself. She constantly pushes herself and her artistry and I recommend her to all of my friends and family. I have referred two weddings parties to her because I wouldn't trust anyone else to make my loved ones look and feel their best on their wedding days. I had even joked with her that I needed to book her in advance for my wedding when I wasn't even engaged. She listens to her clients wishes and tailors individual looks to the person and recognizes the importance of applying different techniques for different personalities, ages, skin types and tones, which speaks volumes of her craft and her desire to please her clients. Taryn and her team are AMAZING. I cannot recommend them enough! Taryn made me feel beautiful on my wedding day as well as during my trials. And my makeup stayed put from morning to well into the early hours of a really hot/humid summer day! Her false lashes are so amazing, by far my favorite and she has a bunch of different style. She is able to give you any look wether it be Glam or a more natural look. I cannot wait to get my makeup done again by Taryn, super professional and knowledgeable. Taryn did my makeup for my wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier! She is known throughout the city and came highly recommended by a lot of people. I highly recommend a trial - did one with her and I thought I wanted full coverage and a bold lip colour for the wedding day but I ended up going for a much softer/natural look. She did such a good job! I’ve never felt prettier and I received so many complements on my makeup! She is so sweet and easy to work with. Book her!! You won’t regret it!
Taryn did wedding makeup for myself and my ladies at the end of October. She was absolutely perfect! She made sure to arrive early enough to give each girl at least an hour of her time so that she didn't have to worry about rushing. She set up all her makeup at our kitchen table next to a window and I felt bad for making her work in such a small space but she didn't seem to mind at all and got right to work. Everybody's makeup looked flawless and lasted through many happy tears throughout the day. Also all false eyelashes stayed put. The only thing we had to touch up through the day was our lipstick and liner. I felt so beautiful and I'm sure the others did as well so thank you SO much for everything, can't wait to recommend you to others and hopefully make use of your talents in the future! I am so happy I chose Taryn to be the makeup artist for my wedding as she played a big part in making my wedding planning experience more enjoyable, positive, and relaxing. When I first met Taryn at my makeup trial, for my engagement shoot, she really made me feel at ease and established my trust that the makeup for the wedding day would go smoothly. She is very organized and took notes the day of the trial. Taryn made me feel so beautiful during my engagement shoot and wedding. I had such a great time getting ready with my 5 bridesmaids and family the morning of the wedding. Taryn has a sweet personality and it was a joy spending time chatting with her while she did our makeup. Her punctuality, professionalism, and friendliness made the morning go by smoothly as she managed to complete all our makeup with time to spare. My bridesmaids all have different skin tones and eye colours and Taryn did an amazing job tailoring her makeup application to suit each person. Everyone looked and felt fabulous!
