Excellent service and the food is sooo amazing. When in Ottawa you have to come here for brunch/lunch/dinner! The owner here is great she treats you like family. While we were having brunch two customers walked in just to say thank her for the great food.

Food was tasty and service was good. My friend and I were the only ones there. They asked us to sit and they served us the food. It wasn’t perfect but it was still great. Hence I give it four stars. Can’t go wrong trying it out. Their vanilla latte is also very tasty and good quality.

We purchased two bags from the day old pastry bin. First, the lady charged us more for one of the bags despite the price being labeled on the cabinet, saying it's got more pieces than the rest. If it does, then the prices should be labeled individually. I find putting a price and then charging another to be deceiving. Then she charges us more, saying it's more tax, even though there is no tax on prepared bulk food. Now we come to the taste, which frankly makes the experience so far like a joy ride. The pastries taste like dry, tasteless bread. They are by far the worst I've had. Tim Hortons takes like heaven compared to it. The apple turnover barely had any apples and I have seen rocks that are softer than those scones. Unless you're certain about eating here, I'd suggest avoiding this tourist trap and to trust the crowds of people and just cross to the other side for more affordable and tastier food products.

I had visiter from Amsterdam she is gluten free. She did enjoyed a variety of pastries. I went back with another friend we liked the place. The staff are very friendly.
Wonderful find in Ottawa's in Byward Market. It is a bake shop, restaurant, catering service and everything is gluten-free. No table service.. order at the counter and the food is delivered by a staff member. They have a cracker jack pastry chef (awesome cactus inspired chocolate Easter bunnies for example). Checkout the salads, sold by weight... Especially the beet fennel, orange salad
