I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews. Our experience has been positive from the first contact. Andy is very knowledgeable trustworthy. and easy to deal with. Everyone I've spoken to has been extremely courteous and helpful. Even during COVID, they delivered a beautiful awning and the installers were amazing. We will most definitely recommend them

We had two awnings installed in 2016. Workmanship and quality was excellent. However, reason for poor review - in 2017, we had new soffits and fascia installed. Gallaghers came and removed the awnings, then returned and re-installed them. At the time, one of the awnings, once installed, had a different pitch angle than the other, causing rain to pool on the awning. We called to have an adjustment in 2020 (first we had a chance to get to it). No mention of a service charge. Crew attended, 5 minutes on site, adjusted pitch, no problems now with rain pooling. However, I was surprised to receive a 141 invoice for the service. I disputed with Andrew Gallagher to no avail. End of day, this is a service/goodwill issue, and Gallaghers chose money over goodwill. I had been recommending Gallaghers to friends and neighbours - no longer.
We had them install a canvas manual awning that covered a large bay window. It is still going strong after 8 years!! Amazing. It's rare to get products (and service) that survives the test of time :D We recently wrote them about a small hole a bug or mouse had made to ask about repairs - and got an immediate reasonable response. Would definitely hire them again (assuming same owners ie Andrew Gallagher).
We had Andy Gallagher make us a custom awning for our pergola. After 1 year, it was pretty warn so we asked Andy to help us repair and strengthen it. He agreed but then became unresponsive. After several calls he let us know that he was too busy to help us so we are left high and dry. This was high quality and expensive material which didn't stand the test of time. Gallagher is untrustworthy so I recommend looking elsewhere.
