My girlfriend who is trained in medicine went to get simple bloodwork done earlier today at the Fergus location. First they told her they didn't have their email setup. Then they offered no help with her request. They were nothing but disrespectful. And then when they took her blood they used a needle that was unnecessarily big, she requested a smaller needle and was told there is no difference. She's been in pain all day. We will be driving to Guelph next time we require a lifelabs. Absolutely appalling that these people were so unprofessional and disrespectful.

Word of advise for anyone attending this location., if you don't have an appointment and there is "no line up" go right on in. If you have an appointment and get there early and there is "no line up" stay outside until your appointment time. Even if one of them says it's ok to come in. The added stress and discomfort is not worth it. I left there in tears yesterday, after 15 mins of listening to a passive aggressive rant, directed at me. This technician should be aware that her voice carries and her words are hurtful. Perhaps she should also show a little compassion as someone may be in there having tests done that could change there life forever. Be kind.

After booking appt and waiting in a hall, they could not find my requisition. My Dr. office confirmed they faxed it to the right number and it went through, last week. You cannot phone them ahead to see if they received your req. as their time is apparently, way more precious than yours. I suggest to not use this location, unless you have a paper requisition in your hand, or time to waste. And money to waste (they charge for parking).

My 9 year old daughter was in for blood work. The "technician" couldn't find a vein and shouted at my daughter "You made a fist now I can't find your vein, why would you do that." Child is traumatized. So-called technician should give proper instructions and be patient with everyone, especially children. Also, not following COVID protocols for physical distancing between clients. Terrible, unprofessional staff. Staff are also not cleaning surfaces properly. Staff are complete garbage for being rude to clients. Would give Negative 100 rating if possible.

Went to this life labs location because it's close to home as I work from home now due to covid 19. Usually go to a kitchener or Waterloo location early in the morning before work. I like this location and will be going back as I need to get by blood work done a few times a year. It's not busy and opens at 7am, which is nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This location is behind the hospital and has a sign on the side of the building, so you could miss it if you aren't paying attention but it's the only building in the back. Would give it 5 stars but it's a small old location. I wonder if this will be closed and moved to the new hospital once it opens later in the summer.

The slowest lifelabs on the planet.. not sure what they do here but it is beyond slow.. appointments are not honoured at all.. always 30 to 45 mins behind.. get it together!!!!! Every other lifelabs is run better than this one.
