Darrell is a great teacher who tailors his lesson to the individual student, making the learning curve not just faster but also just the right level of challenging. He runs Guitar Garage in a way that makes it friendly for his customers. Not hard to see why his students speak highly of him, they are getting what they pay for, not just someone phoning it in. He also tweaked my new guitar in minutes, making it absolutely sing. Highly recommend.

My son has been going to Darrell for many years for guitar lessons. Darrell often spends extra time after the lesson sending him music to play. He's done backing tracks to play off of as well. The lessons are built properly with a quick warmup in the keys of the days music, and they build up to what he wants to teach that day. They've focused on acoustic, electric, different tunings and more. We have had several guitars worked on over the years and never had an issue with the quality of the work. Darrell runs a quality guitar shop.
