Had Five Star Sheet Metal out to replace our 32 year old beast of a furnace in the home we just purchased. The experience was excellent from beginning to end. Ed came out and had a look at our old machine and system. He inspected some of our ducts that we had some problems with and gave us some advice right away for ways to decrease noise and increase the efficiency. He anticipated a delay in getting in a new furnace (due to COVID), but ended up being 3 weeks ahead of schedule. He was able to capitalize on fortis rebates for us, and gave us multiple options for models that fit our budget and needs. He was a straight shooter about what he thought would be best for us, and we felt he listened well to what we were looking for. At the time of install Ed showed up early to make sure that things were good and ready, and that he had a full plan before the rest of his crew arrived. They were incredibly kind, respectful and efficient. Everything went as to plan, a reflection of good organization and leadership, and competent staff. We love our new furnace and thermostat and are so glad we chose to work with Five Star. We look forward to working with them again in the spring, when we add in central air. I highly recommend working with Ed, his business partner Mike, and the entire Five Star crew.
