We booked this venue for our wedding originally in June/20, but due to Covid had to move to July/21. There had always been talk about new cabins being built, and a guarantee they would be ready by 2020. That never happened. Not once in the entire year and a half we checked in had there been any progress. In October I received an email saying the business went into receivership, and there was no money left (we paid a large deposit for our event). He also said the new owners would be renovating and be ready for events this year. I contacted the new owner, but found out they do not own Lakeshore, they only purchased the land, and definitely would not be ready to host events for at least a couple years. She also told me this deal happened a couple months back, and I was only notified when he said the penalties took all his money. Our deposit for our event in 2021 is not his money to spend!!! Apparently multiple people had been contacting the new owner (Barron gave out her name and number) wondering what was happening with their reservations. Nobody was notified the business was no more, and people were still continuing to show up! We still have not heard back from him (he has a habit of not responding), but he owes us a few thousand dollars! If they couldn't make their payments, the deposits set for future dates is not theirs to keep. Trying to plan an event or a weekend stay here is not worth it.

Absolutely Gorgeous resort. Blessed to enjoy our stay. Barron, Peter, Stephen and the dogs are such a fantastic bunch that care so much about their guests. Way to go guys

I went to this place on a school trip and the view (along with the lake canoe and row boat) was amazing, but there were some problems we encountered along the way that led to the overall bad experience at Lakeshore. The first unfortunate event was with one of my class mates RV's not having any hot water. In the first few days our doorknob broke and it was never fixed which forced us to leave our door open so as to not get locked inside and caused an infestation of bugs in our cabin. Moreover, another colleague's shower broke and was also never fixed. The entire cabin was forced to seek showers in other people's residences for the entire remainder of their stay. I only hope that they treat their incoming guests with more respect and solve future concerns in a timely manner.

Cozy little cabins just steps from the lake. The beach at the resort is great for kids swimming and fishing, and they have free water craft and toys for use. Pet friendly, close to a cidery and grocery store.

Timber the dog was awesome and the cabin had everything I needed, including the kitchen.

Amenities were 10/10. Free boat, paddle, and life jacket use. Great area for fishing. Parking was fine. People were friendly and nice. Rooms felt a little bit outdated. Would come back/recommend.

Great location on St. Mary lake. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cabin was clean, bit of a rustic look, needed a bit of TLC but are being fixed up as staff are able to. Fun place to go.

Besutiful and peaceful location. The cabins are clean, modern, comfortable, and well equipped. I enjoyed taking the boat out for a paddle (they have a row boat and kayak guests can borrow). Overall, I had a wonderful weekend there.
