Hook Line & Sinker is such a great store. The fly tying materials inventory is second to none in the area. The shop also carries the full spectrum of fishing equipment and most importantly, the knowledge associated to the products.

Ray was great in his choices of fly making materials, and my husband left a very happy fly maker. (Thank you, from his wife for making this Covid shutdown a little better), highly recommend going there, I'm sure we will be back

Just started fishing for steelhead this year. In other words I ask a lot of really dumb questions. The owner here is absolutely fantastic. Answered all questions, got me set up with everything I need for steelhead fishing. Would recommend people drop by, this guy is a true gem of Guelph.

Called to check for the reel. Guy tries to explain if I saw \sold sign\ on website. Better response would have been to tell me...sorry we are sold out rather than telling me where to look in website.

My friend is getting into fishing and wanted to go to a fishing store but did not want go travel outside of Guelph. We wanted to support the local Guelph store until we met the owner. He first only wanted to sell us some no name rod and reel he has had since 2014. We tried to negotiate another set up but he wouldn't have it. We wanted to research the brand so once he heard that he stormed off and started using the fishing line machine which made so much noise you couldn't hear yourself talk. I also asked him for a certain type of tackle and he told me to basically find it myself and I should open my horizon as there is other outdated tackle he had for sale. Oh, we also purchase a whole setup with a bag from Canadian Tire for the same price with well known name, quality brands. They get a 1 out of 5 only because of how they dealt with the Covid procedure on entering the store. A 2 customer limit was stated by the owner yet there were 3 of us in our party... the one star is generous.
