Final product was great but I am frustrated I used a middleman instead of connecting directly with a contractor. In the weeks leading up to the work day I went back and forth with the contact at Handyman connection 2-3 times trying to confirm what the craftsman needed us to provide and was not given correct information. I was also never put in contact with the craftsperson themselves despite making that request. I was told to provide some basic elements and the craftsperson would provide the rest. This was not the case at all and resulted in a lot of frustration and significant delay. These communication issues as well as the work day itself being pushed back a full week due to an error on Handyman Connection's part made the whole experience feel very unprofessional. In the end the craftsman did a good job but Handyman Connection's role in the transaction resulted in confusion, frustration and wasted time. I would suggest booking directly with a contractor instead of using this service.

Excellent service from Steve and his team. I have hired this company on several occasions to complete tasks in a corporate office. They have removed cubicles, assembled furniture, changed lights, mounted several TV's, removed TV's, painted, etc. I would 100% use them again in the future.
The gentleman representing Handyman Connection was 1 hour late for the consult. He promised a quote within 24 hours. I had to phone the company and I the manager provided me with a verbal rather than written quote. I booked the work and received confirmation from the Handyman Connection 2 hours before the work was scheduled The employee did not show up I received neither a follow-up phone call or email. I phoned Handyman to complain and the manager's response was \Oh\... A week later I received a survey from the owner of Handyman Connection. Needless to say, I gave them a poor rating and explained my reasons why. No one from Handyman Connection followed up. I am a small business owner with an exceptional team of staff who provide exceptional customer service. Clearly Handyman Connection does not know what customer service is or how to provide it.
Had a tricky issue with our front door; the company was quick and helpful to respond, and Doug was very knowledgeable and professional, and fixed the issue right away. Saved us s on a new door! Would use again. Far less stressful than trying to find someone reputable on Kijiji.
Andrew is meticulous in his work, and the quality of his work as a plumber is excellent. He is polite and makes sure that he has completed all you needed before he leaves. I would definitely use the company/him again.
