We have received outstanding service from Handi-House on my Dad's wheelchair, even after the virus has led to lockdowns in his retirement residence. Last week, one of the brake handles broke. We were concerned because it was a safety risk. I took the old handle into the Handi-House store on Colonnade expecting to wait for a week or more for the part to be ordered. They had a new brake handle, and had it installed on Dad's wheelchair in the retirement home later that same day. Recently, we also needed to replace a hand controller for Dad's hospital bed. Although Handi House did not carry it, and could order it in a couple of weeks, we needed it ASAP, so they recommended some other local suppliers who carried that line. Thanks to their help, we found the controller and installed it the same day. We appreciated that very, very much.

I couldn't believe how fast the wheelchair was delivered to the nursing home for my mom, and Robert's immediate attention in fitting the wheelchair precisely for mom's needs and requirements. The Old Guy

A big thank you to everyone at Handi-House. This place knows how to treat their customers. My mother recently moved from one senior residence to another, we had ordered a new hospital bed from Handi-House to be delivered on her move in day. Not only was it delivered and set up on time, they also stopped by her old home and picked up her electric wheel chair, they wouldn't accept any money from us for doing this. Last week my moth accidentally drove over the charger for her wheel chair and broke the cord. Handi-House was able to bring her a loaner charger and although we opted to not have the old one fixed, they let her keep the loaner while we wait to have a new one delivered. With all that is happening these days, it is nice to know that because of the all the staff at Handi-House we had a lot less to worry about with my mother's move and settling in. Thanks again.

Ordering a wheelchair for my mother through Handi-House was easy and problem free. I was included in the assessment of what my mother needed and everything was explained to me clearly and my questions were answered. Explanations were given throughout the process including billing options and follow ups. A very good experience.

This is the second time that I required mobility equipment for my elderly mother and I have been very pleased with the service received on both occasions. The first purchase was for a wheelchair, and the most recent was for a hospital bed. The store usually has most items on display, that match their website photos and descriptions so you can go and test them out. The staff, namely Dave, are helpful and welcome it. They also have a choice of health care contacts such as occupational therapists (O.T.s) that they can direct you to if you need their expertise/assessment and who can also complete the application process for the A.D.P. Ontario disability program. Once a suitable choice is agreed upon between the O.T. and the patient, Robert works closely and collaboratively with them to create a full written estimate of cost before going ahead with the order. Delivery and setup of the hospital bed were then arranged to mom's senior's home. He also helped me move out her double bed to my waiting van. Thank you again.
