Highly recommended! The staff is honest, hard-working, knowledgeable, and above all, kind. The team has a terrific can-do attitude and looks out for their customers. I stopped by for a tire change on a blustery Sunday night in the dead of winter (they're open during the pandemic — an essential service!) and they enthusiastically helped me out, even though I have a challenging custom bike. When the tire wall exploded (not their fault — the front rim is unusually thick) I was blown away (!) by how they handled it. David, the manager, went above and beyond and really reflected the shop's ethos of helpfulness. I've lived in NYC, Paris, Vancouver, and now Toronto and the service Gears provides is second to none. We're lucky to have a shop like this in the neighbourhood. Support your local small businesses! They also have a great selection of quality e-bikes. This is a fresh, forward-thinking company with honest pricing and truly exemplary service. They will take care of you.

Really friendly staff. They helped me get into cycling earlier this summer. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Some bike shops are really snooty if they think you don’t know much, but these folks here will take the time to educate you on the product without condescension. Highly recommend!
My spouse are always treated well by the Gears (Canary District) staff. It's the only location/bike shop we have our bikes tuned at because they do a great job. This review is to shine the spot light on someone who is especially helpful - LISA. She has a wonderful warm personality, she gives honest opinions and will go the extra mile to do research on products or track down hard to find items just for you. Justin and I think you're worth singling out LISA! Thank-you for all your help!
Gears is honestly the best customer service. They've helped me when I was in a super need a replacement part when I was in a rush, and got me in and out no time. Also all my road bikes are from here and the tune ups and warranty is amazing. I can't ask for better quality and service. If there was something there, I got them to order it and had no issues. Also they offer a great rental program and if you want to test out the bikes, it's a super safe area to do so. Highly recommend it!
