I’ve been going to this gym for 7 years now! It was the first gym I ever signed up at :) and it has been and always will be the gym I always go to. I love the comfortable all women’s environment! They have a variety of classes, and the instructors are all so motivating and well educated. There is tanning and showers in the change-room. AND they have CHILDCARE which is HUGE for moms like me on the go! Lastly, they have new owners who have been working hard in bringing many good and exciting changes to the gym highly highly recommend ladies!

Been going to this gym for 9 months and the longer I stayed the more dissatisfied I became. The hours of operation aren’t great, and there are hidden fees that add up. Had my credit card compromised and they were so unhelpful with the procedure that I ended up wanting to cancel. Cancellation was such an ordeal and found both staff and manager extremely unhelpful. When my card was compromised, they called for payment 3 times in 2 weeks and when they knew I wanted to cancel, they let my balance grow and I ended up being charged for an extra FOUR months. Really dishonest customer service. I signed up with my friend and she was able to cancel much easier and with a waived 30 day notice so they don’t equally apply their policy. Don’t know if it was a race thing or they’re just like this but my (white) friend was treated very differently. Even the way I was talked to as if I was a child/ couldn’t understand English was extremely rude and condescending. I left the interactions feeling extremely upset and sad. Compared to other gyms in the area, for price and customer service, you’re better off going somewhere else. Been a part of a couple different gyms now and found Fitwells surprisingly unhelpful. Anytime fitness is cheaper and have better hours and Trevor Linden has better facilities and much better service!
The staff is friendly here. I find that you dont feel out of place at all, which is a nice change from a majority of the gyms. Child care is such a great bonus, as it is hard to find one my kids are comfortable with. I also really like how they support LOCAL businesses as opposed to the giant corps. Its a nice change of pace :) ..
This is by far my most favourite gym! I love the atmosphere the staff are super helpful and it is so nice in the gym and not so busy to where I'm waiting for a machine!
Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the gym is never too busy, it’s always clean, the classes are great and overall its a great gym.
Everytime I go to fitwells I get greeted with a smile. They have alot of machines to choose from, if you go in the afternoon it isn't too busy which is nice and the classes are great!
Been going here since 2009 and this is by far my favorite gym. The staff is awesome and so friendly which is so nice after a hard day of work.
Great gym. I was looking at other gyms, ended up choosing this one. It's really nice to have quieter, not crowded place to exercise. I'm not interested in classes, but the staff are friendly, and the equipment is great, especially when they moved some from the Coquitlam location to Maple Ridge.
