This place used to suck, but it definitely doesn't anymore. They've reorganized the store and hired some new, helpful people. The prices are better than MEC and the staff were really helpful when we went in. I would definitely recommend giving these folks another chance!

As most of the other reviewers have already said, you deserve much better than the service offered here. The prices are higher than competing stores, the staff is generally clueless, and the owner is rude beyond belief, acting like talking to customers is completely beneath him and clearly only concerned with the bottom line. I can't imagine why anyone would want to give money to a business owned by someone who obviously treats his customers with such contempt, and I would have very low expectations for any kind of after-sale service if something went wrong. Do yourself a favor, and shop at any number of the other sporting goods stores in the neighborhood, which offer better selection, better prices and much, much better staff!

The customer service quality is very poor. I went on Saturday, February 28th to rent a pair of snowshoes. When I have requested a plastic bag to put the snowshoes in, the cashier refused simply because he was too busy with describing his trip to Antarctica, made on December 2014, to a third person. This led me to the decision of never returning back to Europe Bound store.

This store has the best variety, is high end, and for a proper excursion to Antarctica or Everest would be the place to discuss with a staff member who had actually been there. E.B. also sells bicycles and has The best bike mechanic on site. Very accessible by TTC

Nice travel store stocked with outdoorsy gear. Some of the items look a bit old but they sell at a great price. It's a bit cluttered but has the small store feel.

Well located in downtown with a good selection of everything you need for most outdoor adventures. The displays are a bit crowded so go in the of hours so you have room to move around. It's also across the street from MEC for now as I believe they are moving in 2017 to Queen West.

Great selection of techie, outdoor and adventure clothing and equipment. The staff are really helpful and the prices are surprisingly inexpensive given the location.

Great selection of backpacks. I found a backpack at a cheaper rate at another store and the owner immediately price-matched and even reduced the price by 5! First aid kits were also cheaper here compared to the competition.
