good intentions; however, over-priced, lots of staff turnover due to poor leadership, many teachers i spoke with that left EA said they had a negative experience. many students i spoke to that used to go there said it was not a great experience. i find it odd that one of their lead staff members wrote a 5 Star review. pat yourselves on the back some more! reviews are for the customers, not staff.

If you are out to find your kid an embracing school after long years of struggling with the mainstream education system and if you want this school to give your kid the best cognitive and emotional support through the best teachers and staff you are in the right place. Eaton Arrowsmith School is the best. It worths leaving your home, your country, your family behind and focus on your kid while feeling relieved from the stress of ‘future’. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude.

Our son was 14 before we found Eaton Arrowsmith school. Finally after all the years of 'trying everything' I feel like we are finally working on the core of the problem and not just putting makeup on the problem. Our son is finally getting the help he has been searching for and I can now see a future for him. The teachers and staff that our son has worked with understand these students and treat each one as an individual and work to bring out the best in them. I can't recommend this program more highly and wish it was included in mainstream curriculum to help so many other children who suffer in the same way who cannot access the help they deserve. Thankyou Eaton Arrowsmith, forever grateful.

After 3 years as part of the EAS family we are excited that this chapter in our childs education here is coming to a close as the program will be complete in June. She has so many amazing new (and improved) cognitive skills and abilities and is now able to tackle traditional curriculum and learning objectives. We did not know that it would be possible for her to overcome so many of her challenges when we enrolled her in this program. This program is tackling so many of the learning challenges that both children and adults cope with. It felt like a leap of faith when we chose to try to help our child overcome her challenges vs more traditional interventions but in hindsight it was one of the best decisions we ever made. If you or your child is bright but struggling with traditional teaching methods, has trouble keeping up, or challenges with memory you should check this out. I can't speak highly enough of the dedicated teachers and admin who guide the kids through this program. It will be hard to leave.

Eaton Arrowsmith School works as a team with families in order to help students with learning disabilities and attention difficulties target and strengthen the areas of their brain that are the underlying cause of learning and social struggles. Instead of accommodating for learning challenges with bypass strategies, students leave EAS after completing their programs and transition to local and international public and private schools as independent, self confident learners...finally able to reach goals they had previously only dreamed of.

The Eaton Arrowsmith School (EAS) in Vancouver delivers singularly strong results for their students. By improving the cognitive deficits that underlie their learning disabilities, EAS students gain the ability to learn much more like their non-disabled peers. Most go on to take regular classes in general education classrooms without accommodations, modifications, or compensations, a significantly different result from what is achieved with standard special education methodologies. That is not to say that the Arrowsmith Program is some sort of magic hocus-pocus. I have an MS in special education, and in my extensive observations of EAS the past three years I have seen consistently textbook-perfect delivery of instruction, individualized programming, and classroom management. The EAS staff are truly excellent professional educators and much of the program’s success is due to good hard work on the part of the instructors and their students.
