Knowledgable and honest mechanics do still exist. Don is proof of that. Highly recommended. Frosty.

My first experience here was great. My alternator died very suddenly on me and I went to Don Collver. Don tried several parts dealers to find the best price for a new alternator and his labour costs were very reasonable. My vehicle was fixed in quick time too.

So I recently took my car here for the first time. I have always had older vehicles that I have maintained so I am familiar with having to get work done. I also have moved around alot so I have been to multiple different shops !!!. Being a female with just basic mechanical knowledge ...I feel you always worry when you take your car into a new place. But I am astounded and floored with the amazing all around service, repair, communication and customer service. I took my 2010 vw beetle in for a leak ...but took her in also knowing I probably needed a bit more that just that fixed as she had been driving ruff for sometime. He took me into the shop while my car was up on the hoist and showed and explained all the components under my vehicle that needed some TLC. I required exhaust sleve, rear shocks, breaks, calibers and a ball joint replaced. He was so accomodating with my schedule and was so easy to talk to...I knew my car was in good hands... and I am very happy with how my car drives now ...so smooth... I would highly recommend this place. To top it off my Dad is a mechanic...but lives far and no longer has a shop...and when I showed him my bill he was impressed so that says it all! Thank you very very much! My sick bug has a clean bill of health!

Went in to have my car looked at to ensure it would pass an e test. I was told my car needed 1200 in repairs in order to pass e test. They completed the repairs and i had to leave to take it to Canadian tire for my e test. Once I took it to Canadian tire the mechanics / manager there informed me I did NOT have to have the o2 sensor and ALL other things repaired like don's told me JUST to pass e test. There is a new legislation that if your car repairs exceed 400 in order to pass e test you do not need to have them completed. You only pay 160 roughly to have it waved and ur car passed e testing. This automotive centre FAILED TO TELL ME THIS. As they obviously just wanted my money and to rip me off . Would not be going back here again.
