good place to stay in summer while on road.... stayed in cabin 2 for two nights, not that fancy, but has clean beds and bathroom, also has a small kitchen area with hot plate , sink, microwave etc.

Cabins were very dirty, looked like it hadn't even been cleaned between guests. There was hair all over the bathroom and the sink still had left over food. There was also a smell in the cabin that was indescribable. Tried to eat at the restaurant but everything just tasted like old deep fryer. The cook had a horrible attitude.
Use to stop here in 70s, 80s, and 90s. Was always great. They have reduced operating hours during pandemic.
The staff was great and the location was amazing, right beside Bon Echo park. Perfect spot for swimming and sight seeing. My only issue is the Yurt we rented was falling apart and pretty dirty. Not what we werw expecting, but it worked and we had a great time. I'd definitely go back.
Was in Saturday February 22nd and was VERY impressed it was a full house and my food came out hot and delicious! The guy in the kitchen was doing an amazing job in that kitchen considering how busy it was. Our server was very polite and on point we will be back !
Stayed here to go sledding for the weekend. Great spot trail is right behind you. Clean and great people to stay with. Food is awsome. Will definitely go back.
