This isn't the biggest Canadian Tire in the area, as Castlegar is only 20 minutes away. However the Trail store is clean and well organized, and their staff is friendly. I have waited for a while to get help in the past, but that hasn't been my usual experience.

Canadian Tire - Castlegar is a good place to buy a appliances, tools, tables, all you need is here at reasonable prices. The staff are nice and knowlegeable. Very organized shopping experience.

This store is a disaster, employees and stock completely blocking the aisles, no stock on any of the shelves, almost impossible to get one cart down an aisle, and I hope you don't have somebody else in the aisle with you, social distancing is impossible and getting two carts also impossible. I tried to move my cart around an employee who had almost completely blocked the aisle. I accidentally jostled the ladder she was standing on. When I went to apologize she sighed and basically yelled at me and said I could have seriously hurt her and put her out of work. Then proceeded to bicker with me as I tried to leave the aisle. Your store is completely unsafe for staff and patrons and I got yelled at for it? Are you serious? I've worked in customer service for years and she could have handled this in a million different ways other than the way she did. It's been several hours since the incident and I'm still angry and very upset. We've lived in this area for a week and I don't plan to ever set foot in the Castlegar store again. It's the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

Wow! This is so much more than a tire store. I had no idea Kitchen Aide made so many different colors of mixers! The place is massive. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, considering the size of the store, you may need some direction the first time you go. Prices are reasonable! Great place to find everything!!
