We rode the Canal trail from Port Colborne as far as the Bridge 12 (about 2hrs), and began our return trip only to get a flat tire as we started back. 2 hours ride from our vehicle, we had no repair kit (lesson learned) , only our cell phone... Searched for \bike shops near me\ and came across CanalCityCycle. Called for help and Erik was kind enough to take the time, drive out to our location and repair the tire within 30 minutes...totally amazing service! Thank you Erik for saving our day and making the sport of cycling enjoyable!

Erik was very accommodating to our schedule and needs, he was able to give bikes that fulfilled our needs and he even gave some maps. All in all, I would go back to his shop because of how nice and accommodating he was. If you’re looking for bikes in good condition (perhaps not the newest bikes) that will allow you to bike all day safely, Erik is your guy.

Very friendly and made accommodations for me. He's still working on my bike so my review my change. Was going to spend 140 for everything but he understood my situation as a student and managed to lower the bill to 60 or so. It was amazing and my bike still works to this day.

Well when I first started my vintage bycicle with Eric I was excited because he was nice, smart, easy going and knew his stuff. First off I repainted my frame before I brought the bike over. A week goes by no progress. I go over with a friend to take his crank appart and use it on my bike. That same night we ended up doing hes crank my crank, my tires as well as the folks on my bike. 80% finished I come by again to pick the bar set up amd eric had some trick ideas. I come by 2 days later and the brake cables, pads, chains aswell as the bars are all together 100%. Heres where im disappointed we pay 200 for his time to install brake lines brakes and the bars. Well hes cutting the cables and inatalling the ends he scraches the frame where hes got the plyers. The were other scratches where the bike was held up. I gave a 2 star because 1 star - exsperiance and easy to work with 1 star - great pricing. The scratches really erked me. 200 for labour crazy. I wish i put the bike together myself after this exsperiance. Now i have to sand down the scratches and repaint and clear coat the bike.
