Always friendly and helpful staff! Good range of products. VERY sad about the other brick-and-mortar locations closing. Seton was so beautiful!

Lots of premium gear here with quality in house brand stuff as well. A good selection of bikes and a service department to meet your biking needs. If you’re camping, hiking, or anything else under the sun, Mec will have the goods you need and the expertise to help make your adventure a reality.

Wanna get outdoors and live a little!? Need gear and advice!? This is the place to be, great service and expertise. A bit pricey sometimes but as with most things on life you get what you pay for! Great place but selection is hurting atm due to the old covid and the giant redesign of the mec brand. Fingers crossed the new owners are alright...

Decent selection of equipment, staff is not knowledgeable. Overall, will just purchase online. They sold out to an American company, so it isn't even locally owned and operated anymore. Also, got to pay for parking. They were however friendly and helpful, so the customer service is nice, no complaints on that department

This MEC could use an operational rehaul. I found the layout confusing, stock lacking in several departments, and the staff were not helpful. Compared to the MEC in Toronto, there was not a door greeter, no floor arrows, and a serious lack of Covid-19 signage. While certain areas were well supplied, like the cookstoves and accessories, other basics like Buffs, Yeti’s (and other go cups), and Sleeping Bags (specifically UL’s) were scarce. I noted several pieces were improperly displayed, like a Primus stove mounted on a jetboil canister, and some none insulated boots in the winter section, and vice versa. In the time we were there, only one team member talked to us or offered assistance. They were puzzled by our Big Agnes inquiry and directed us to check online for stock. Every MEC experience is unique, and while I still happily spent an arm and a leg (obviously), it would be refreshing to see additional care taken here.
