Steve, the general manager went above and beyond to ensure that I received a just settlement for a painting that was damaged during transport. The painting was expertly packaged at the store, however, the package had clearly been smashed en-route. Initially UPS Corporate denied my insurance claim due to a minute technicality that no lay person would understand. However, Steve went to bat for me, elevated the situation up the chain of command and ensured that my claim was honoured. Even though no one at the UPS store specifically was at fault (it was damaged after it had left the store), Steve made it a mission to ensure a just settlement was reached. He could have done nothing but instead decided to do the right thing.

UPS doesn't even try to cater to customers. Delivery driver wrote the bare minimum on the Info slip, including a scratched out \15\ For the pickup location. Useful! Went to pickup after checking the tracking number online and the store looks abandoned during their \open\ hours. Supposed to open at 1030 on Sat and arrived at 1130. Security gates up and not a sign explaining why. UPDATE: store owner replied with reasonable explanation. Drivers still continue to disappoint.
I can't say how helpful and friendly Steve was at this store. He was so patient and understanding of someone who was not sure of the whole process. I was so appreciative of Steve and will definitely make sure I use this store in the future. Thanks Steve!
