We hired Ashton to replace our Water; Sanitary and Sump. We were initially impressed with Jason who came quickly to do thorough inventory before providing us with the quote. Unfortunately, once we signed the contract and paid them half, he seemed to stop caring about us. There was little to no coordination between Jason and the actual on-site people who had not been told what the scope of work was. The only times he called us on his own initiative was when he tried to ask for more money on top of the contract and to get final payment. The work which we were told would take approximately 2 weeks, ended up taking 8-9 weeks during which we had to constantly chase Jason for status updates. Icing on the cake - they had uninstalled our utility sink to gain access to the construction area and did not reinstalled it. We were so fed up with them being in our home that we did not ask. When we went to reinstall it 2-3 weeks after construction completion, we discovered that they had been using the sink's drainage connection in the floor as a toilet, as we ended up with old stale urine pour all over our hands and the floor - IT WAS DISGUSTING. 29 September 2020 UPDATE: I called AND emailed Ashton to try and get some answers on September 6th. The only email I received was that they were looking into it and would get back to us asap. No one has followed up since. They clearly don't care about us once they've received payment.

I normally don’t give reviews but I was impressed with Ashton’s service and wanted to share my experience. Last November, after a pipe burst, Jason from Ashton recommended that I repipe my whole house because I had poly b pipes that needed to be changed. It was big job and their quote was on the higher end: However, I chose Ashton group because Jason was very knowledgeable, respectful and trustworthy. If I am to open my house to contractors; I want to make sure they know what they are doing and that I can trust them. They did not disappoint. Jason and Jay worked on my contract for about a week. Each day they arrived, they were on time, accommodated my schedule, and were able to explain everything they were doing. They also left the place clean (they would vacuum each day before they left) and would wear shoe protectors when they entered the house. I appreciated that. There were no “surprises” and the project was done on time and on budget. It has now been over a month and I still have not any problems with my pipes. Even though their quote may be on the higher end of the scale, I felt it was a good investment as I received quality service and a true price from a team who was very pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate recommending Jason or Jay to others.
Xavier and the Ashton team were excellent. They showed up on time, finished the job faster than I envisioned and were very professional. Dealing with trade contractors in the past has always been stressful. But Ashton is one company I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of service. It’s unfortunate my buildings strata corporation uses another company as their preferred vendor as I feel Ashton would be a better option overall. From the time Tyler came initially to inspect the unit. To Jeff managing the project and now the final install by Xavier and team I can’t help to imagine why can’t all companies work in this efficient and professional manner. Also they are not shy asking for feedback, hence this write up. There is constant communication between the client and the company. No hidden agendas and extremely upfront throughout. Overall very pleased, happy that things went smoothly so far (there still a ceiling to patch up, but that is another third party contractor) and would recommend Ashton to anyone. Thanks again.
As always, Ashton delivers! From Arlene's kind attention during the booking inquiry process to Mike's professional, speedy, careful service, our latest Ashton visit was a no-hassle experience. Mike was on time, kind, courteous, and clearly outlined what the problems were, quoting us a price before the work began. He was even willing to take a quick look at some other issues we are having with our plumbing, diagnose the issue, get us another quote, and set up a return visit. Highly recommend!
Mike P came to fix our running toilet. He identified the problem right away and replaced the parts really quick. While he was here, he checked our hot water tank and furnace. He made some suggestions as to how maintain the furnace and vents. He also noted our hot water tank will be needing replacing soon. Suggested we keep an eye out for Fortis Rebates. He was very professional, efficient and polite. Will definitely call Mike P when we're ready to change our hot water tank.
