Great place caring staff
This changed the direction of my life. I went Thier to get help but I dnt recommend this place to any women in distress. Find another place . The legal support workers are nice. The child counselors are a joke. This is not a place for support. I got lot more stressed when I got there. There is a man that works there with children over 6 yrs olds. I found him utterly rude! When women run to shelter .. they do cause they run out of options. In this place I felt alone. I didn't feel no compassion, support or encouragement. Words of comfort came almost after begging for it. And not from where you expect it from. The employees are rude ! And that's the last place I want to go back to. Women are treated like hassales.
I thought this place saved my life. Some people act like jokes so they get treated like jokes. Neva eva did i see cockroaches or mold and they feed you, council you and help you hep yourself. Some people cant help themselves and want other to do everything. They took care of my child like she was their own and threw her a birthday party and paid and made everything. Gave us so many christmas presents i never expected....i balled my eyes out. Took me to doctors and court and went above and beyond their job..(alot of them). Dont get me wrong some were total un professional but that was mostly weekend staff. Its for people who need it not just need a place when they dont pay their rent. They know who really need and want it such as my main life savers....Sandra..Linda and Linda...and Sarai (spell check). I had alot more problems then most in many ways and will never forget them.. The first place i will pay it foward will be there...at Christmas. Even a year later they called me and still gave my family an adopitive family who bouggt my whole family gifts again. Thank you all and thank god. We now ate happy n have a happy home. Lov u all....mostly. Patricia and Shyah xoxox
