This is a beautiful, sunny and lovingly crafted space for dance and community in the heart of Port Credit. Blueheel is run by an organized and passionate team who are truly invested in their neighbourhood, and know how to make dance fun for all ages and stages, regardless of their level of expertise. Every time we have collaborated with Blueheel and rented their space, they have gone above and beyond to welcome us, accommodate our needs and make us feel at home. A true gem!

When I got married a few years back, I thought it would be a great idea for my future wife and I to choreograph our first dance. That being said, I knew nothing about dance but I knew how much my fiance would enjoy it. I have two left feet but our instructor was patient and made the experience fun. Our first dance went off without a hitch and I would highly recommend Caroline and the Blue Heel's instructors. I recall going in the studio stressed about wedding planning and leaving the studio after my lesson laughing and discussing how much fun we had.

Great location for people living in Port Credit. As a parent, the staff was very dedicated to making the kids comfortable and the end of year recital was a great production. My kids were in middle school when attending Blueheel and the class size was small - perhaps as expected at this age range - so they received a lot of personal attention and were able to progress quickly.

Why Blueheel Dance Studio? After my hip replacements, the physiotherapist at Credit Valley Hospital made several suggestions to improve muscle strength and to stay fit, including attending special classes for hips and knees at the exercise pool in Clarkson and taking dancing lessons. Yes, dancing lessons! For the later, I joined the Blueheel Dance Studio in Port Credit and have found great improvements and an excellent form of exercise as well as social company. Caroline creates a warm welcome if you are a starter or have experience. There are several instructors for the various dances, including Canada’s champion in Ballroom dancing. When Covid-19 struck and the Blueheel was closed, I missed the dancing lessons and the friendly atmosphere at the studio, whether it was Ballroom or Latin. In August the Studio gradually opened up by appointment and socially distance dancing -in my case single- and staying in an assigned area with a mask. Although this was not the same as before, it was great to get the exercise and learn new dancing techniques. Pieter Kool Mississauga, Oct. 5, 2020
