Badly organized. I was wrongfully dismissed over incorrect information. After numerous attempts to contact J, along with going down there, I finally got to talk to her the second day I went down there. After finding out my attendance was correct J changed it to say that I was actually dismissed because of attitude. She goes on to tell me she could actually tell me more unpleasant things about myself but wouldn’t because she didn’t want to ruin my self-esteem. Very professional. There is also no recourse for wrongful dismissal, because in my experience, J will always claim she’s in the right even if that means contradicting her past decisions. Besides my bad experience towards the end I would still recommend the program. It taught me a lot and I appreciate that it exists. Just be wary of management.

Great for gaining employment skills, poorly organized and a certain instructor (Jenn) isn't empathetic to anyone or any situation and will humiliate you in front of the class. She has no care or professionalism at all.

I had such a bad experience with the Bridging the Gap program I wouldnt reccomend it to anyone. At the end of the paid program, I submitted my work experience sheet for a bonus and didn't receive the bonus. Dont register in this program, cuz theres some fake ymca employees that think your lying.
