Correct me if I’m wrong, but is this company and the services they provide an essential service? Other HVAC companies are working during this pandemic. I understand this is a unique situation, and I get that some companies don’t want to open and expose themselves and their workers to this virus, however you can still have someone from the company working from home and having the calls transferred to them and at the very least replying to emails from customers. Last I checked, that doesn’t require you to expose yourself to the virus. I’m so disappointed with Ardent Canada. I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for about a month and a bit now because some of the services they provided me with less than a year ago, has been malfunctioning. Normally I would reach out to another company that is still operating or keeping communication with their customers, but I’m still under warranty with Ardent. SEVERAL ATTEMPTS have been made to reach someone within the company through phone and email, and as customers we’ve received SILENCE. This is NOT okay. One of my issues was my heating not working. Another is a water leak in the filtration system that they sold to us and installed less than a year ago. I should note here, I have a senior and a newborn in my household. Let me also state that I had a new AC unit installed from a different company who made sure in keeping contact with us throughout this pandemic and even took the proper precautions and measures when they came to my household to install the AC. Unfortunately, Ardent Canada has left a very bitter taste in my mouth and if the pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that it showed me who the reliable essential service companies are.

During the hottest days so far this summer our AC unit quit working. Ardent was able to fit us into their very busy schedule and make the necessary repairs to get us up and running again very quickly. Service by their staff was excellent. Their office contacted us to keep us up to date on the status of our repair. Would recommend to anyone in need of mechanical installations or repairs in their homes.
Ardent Heating and Cooling, Barrie, fit us in on a full schedule and fixed our air conditioner during a heat wave. Thanks Lorraine and the Service Crew!
In early August2018, I had our yearly maintenance check for the furnace and A/C and there was a cracked heat exchange in the furnace. New Amana 60,000 BTU furnace with DC fan motor was installed. It is now Dec2018, my new furnace is working well. My gas bill has tremendously decrease. The new furnace is very quite in compare to the old one that the fan was very loud and noisy. I realized the importance of this yearly maintenance check and looking forward for next yearly check in 2019. Thank you again for your professionalism, great work and highly recommended.
We have been using Ardent heating and air conditioning for many years and always have had a very professional experience each and every time. we have had other companies in the past which could not solve our problems or were very unprofessional so it is nice to see that the company puts allot of focus in training and hiring friendly and knowledgeable service people. we have had both a furnace and air conditioner installed plus a few service calls prior. the system is now a few years old but runs great and is saving us quite a bit of money every year. Ardent Barrie has been fantastic to deal with. I have used them 3 times now and every time they come its a pleasure to have them out. Many times they have come out same day as my call and repaired the problem while here. Jason in wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. Jason helped me decide on a new A/C unit last summer and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them to anyone Great work guys!

Awesome service, and honest too! We had our air conditioner stop working in the end of July. Of course, Murphy's law! I did some research online and checked out the different companies, read the reviews on this company and seen good reviews. I called and got the after hours service and left my info for them to call me in the am. Went on to call the other companies one of the big companies set appointment for the next day (Fri before the long weekend) they said I could buy a maintence package. I asked why would I buy a maintence package for a 20 yr old air conditioner that they did not install ? They would not cover any repairs under this maintence package I am sure, was just a cash grab. I did not have a good feeling, I knew that the big company was just going to try to sell me a new air conitioner The next day Ardent called first thing in the am, and said they could fit me in. I called cancelled the other appointment with the big company. Tim and Tyler came out and were awesome, honest and checked everything out and said that I just needed a new part. I would highly recommend them. This is the company to call for honest service. From the front office to the serviceteam awesome friendly service. Thank you!
