It was such a wonderful experience to see my daughter be a part of this choir. Tammy is an excellent teacher and shows the kids patience and love. It is sad that the choir no longer exists. I always looked forward to the recitals and performances. One of the greatest memories was to see the choir sing “This Little Light of Mine” on stage and be awarded the best children’s choir in Vancouver. I will always think back upon these great times. Thank you Tammy for all you have done!

Zing choir is an amazing children’s choir. My kids don’t get any music program at their school so them being part of this great group has really helped in keeping them exposed to music, meeting new friends, and generally developing an enjoyment of singing (which I believe is in all of us.) I catch my kids singing songs they learned at choir several times a day. The director Tammy is very genuine and caring. Would highly recommend this choir to all children.
What an inspiring group of talents! I am amazed by the passion of the Artistic Director, and her gentle mentoring of all choristers, age dependent, while instilling her own love of singing and music to the young ones. I am equally impressed by the piano accompanist, who tirelessly repeats the chords needed for the children to sing any one song in perfect harmony. And in the end, each performance of Zing! is purely angelic and utterly pleasing to the ear and soul. The contemporary repertoire, mixed with golden oldies and classical pieces helps the children relate, feel closer to and love music and singing (and so is the audience), and I am certain this practice and numerous performances at various stages will pay off tremendously in their future, no matter what career they choose. Kudos to the Zing! Choir Board and Artistic Director for finding and providing so many performing opportunities for the choristers. I look forward to next concerts!
We can't believe how lucky we are to be part of Zing!. Tammy brings fun and tremendous energy to each and every well thought out rehearsal. The kids are not only learning a wide range of music and skills, but also are learning to find their own voices and contribute them to the musical team that Zing! is. Tammy's passion and ability to connect with each type of learner and personality is unparalleled. Thank you, Zing!!
Tammy the choir director is full of energy and warmth. She believes all kids can sing — they just need to find their voice. The material is engaging as well as challenging. The kids come together as a team. I’m lucky to have had three kids with zing going on 8 years
