I was curious about this place. I shop my groceries in bulk most of the time but since the pandemia I do what I can. The place is clean, organized, labels are clear. But they don't have much variety of flours but still fine. I did feel the flour was way overpriced. ( I have been buying for years in many independent small shops so I know about prices) They were other things overpriced too that I won't go in details.

I wish I knew about Zero Waste Bulk earlier! What a gem of a place with everything you'd need from soils, grains, flour, anything bulk including amazing vegan donuts! Bring your own containers or they have some available. Support local and shop Zero Waste Bulk.

This bulk store is not only unique in concept, it also has such a wide array of products that shopping here is an interesting, exciting experience. If you are shopping here for the first time I recommend leaving a little bit of extra time in order to get used to how things are done, it may feel a little overwhelming at the start but it quickly becomes a habit that you feel really good about. Unlike conventional stores, the vast majority of products require a reusable containers to purchase, don’t let that stop you though, it’s really simple. If you are impulsively passing by they also offer a variety of paid and free containers which you can use to purchase product, so don’t feel like you’re not prepared if you want to pop in on a whim. The products here are high-quality and as such the prices may be higher than the generic brands we are used to, but not so much higher that it is not worth purchasing. The rolled oats, natural peanut butter, kimchi, And frozen products such as berries and vegetables have become a weekly staple that we rely on. It is noted that most of the products here are geared toward the vegan diet, which is totally understandable and has led to some very exciting meals for my fiancé and I, however, as a non-vegan I would be delighted to see a few meat based options. I understand the vegan diet is hard to find products for so I completely understand the focus, and even if you are not a vegan I still recommend shopping here due to the variety of delicious products that you could try and enjoy. For example, The falafel’s have been a huge hit for us and we have shared them with many friends who have also very much enjoyed them.

This store does a great job of filling a unique niche. The prices are a bit higher than at other bulk stores, but the selection far outweighs that minor downside. Just don't forget to bring your own containers, maybe a few more than you think you'll need. We wish we had brought a medium sized square container so we could try beyond meat burgers. I guess we'll just have to come back!
