LOVE THIS AGENCY!!! I was scouted by Janelle in 2018 and I've been apart of the Morgan Family ever since! What I love most about this amazing team is that they truly care about every single model and client. As a model, there have been times I stepped on set and photographers have commented to me about the professionalism of this agency and how friendly everyone is. These past 2 years have been amazing and I met so many people, I cant wait for what else is in store! I strongly recommend for anyone looking for clients or to be a model.
Got offered a last minute gig (under 24 hours notice from shoot time) at a specific rate. I agreed to the terms of the offer and once I was booked, Janelle informed me that the rate was actually 1/3 of the original quoted rate. When I informed her that those were not the terms I agreed to, she tried to guilt me into agreeing to the job by saying it was unprofessional to decline within 24 hours (though I was offered the job within a timeframe that was less than 24 hours). She has awful communication skills and doesn’t know when to admit that she is wrong.this industry has way too many snakes and Janelle fits the build perfectly. don’t waste your time considering this absolute joke of an agency.

I am approaching the 2 year mark since I began working with Morgan Models, and it has been an excellent experience. Within the first few weeks of working with Janelle, I knew that it was going to be a superior working relationship than with previous agencies. Janelle and Lola provide a particular level of career guidance and individual attention to their models that I think is not always commonplace with other Toronto agencies. They have really hustled for me, have my best interests at heart, help you appreciate your worth and not being undervalued, and they provide individualized attention that you don’t find at larger agencies.
Great agency to learn from as first steps into model development. Unfortunately a lack of professionalism (especially for beginners), had left me feeling in the dark alot and unsure of progress, if any. Alot of dreams were sold but not many actions were taken. Everything is a learning experience and morgan taught me alot of what a real agency should not be.
I had the pleasure of photographing some of this agency's models while studying photography in school. I had worked with a couple of their models and the communication with the agency was great and the models were great to work with (hence not a one star). However, I have recently asked for a model release for one of their models who I had shot personal work for as I am now expecting and have a lot of time on my hands to update my portfolio, submit my favourite shoots, and create an upcoming book I have been wanting to work on for ages. I was able to receive everyone's release forms from this agency's models except for one so I reached out to the agency and they said they would not provide me with the model release since the shoot was for this model's portfolio building and let me know there is now a charge for this model and I can shoot her again for a model release. I was never informed that this was for the model's portfolio building as this was my personal shoot and it has also already been published in the past so I felt this was really unfair as I now can no longer use this shoot. Not to mention I used this model a few different times and each time it was for my own concepts with my own team assuming it was all for my own work (and not for her portfolio building, considering one shoot had four other women in it). Lesson learned to always get model release before hand but I advise photographers to get your model release before shooting or they will try to charge you for future use of their models in order to obtain a release form. The agency is still ignoring my request to reconsider since this is one of my favourite shoots and without a model release I should not even have it on my website. Super upset about this and I will not be using this agency again.
Janelle has created such a positive environment here at Morgan. It makes me proud to say who represents me. I have always felt prepared for every shoot and well informed. She cares about who we work with and makes sure that the models are taken care of and respected.
