I have Been coming here on and off my entire life, finally saved to go to school in Waterloo and just getting by. Come to get back into enjoying a healthy lifestyle and my student card isn’t recognized so I don’t get a student discount and get soaked 70.00 bucks for 1 month. Apparently student discounts only pertain to university of Waterloo students in Stratford not college of Waterloo students that live in Stratford. Zero star rating and this will be the last month coming. Thumbs down!
The staff are kind, and the facility is clean. It doesn’t have everything you could imagine, in terms of equipment, but if you’re there for regular fitness needs then this place has everything you need. There’s a pool, and other facilities that you can use with your membership, and the added benefit of having a daycare within the facility is a major plus. Memberships are pretty cheap, at least in comparison to the other options around town, so if you’re tight on cash then this is the place to go. If you’re new to fitness then this is the perfect place to start.
My family and I use the YMCA alot. Indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment. Nice fitness centre and great gymnasium. Always something for all ages. The summer camp programs help with children when school is out. Great asset to the community!
