Just called the St Vital Mall. This place and others are permanently closed. Company went bankrupt and there is no answer on their 800 phone number.

Wish I could give zero stars here. Said my piece would be ready next day. Paid in full. I get there the next day at 2pm in a major mall - place is closed and locked up tight. Customers wondering what is happening. Security says it's an employee didn't show up. Come on...for the whole day? You don't have someone to cover?! People walking by say they are bankrupt. No anniversary present for me that was promised. DO NOT USE if they still exist in the future.

So we went to St.Vital mall for safe trick or treat for our three year old. We followed the list of participating stores. We noticed Things Engraved was on the list our child went over to the kiosk and was rewarded with a coupon for 5 dollars off a regular priced item. The coupon says friends and family it's not even a Halloween themed coupon. However the biggest concern is if you dont want to participate then dont, if your establishment runs out that understandable as well. But a generic coupon, is more of a slap in the face then an appology because you rant out or dont want to provide a treat. We understand that its not mandatory for a business to participate nor is it expected but if you are going to then you should show children the decency not to use them in that manner to get to the parents. This is abhorrent behavior by Things Engraved. When I need something engraved if I ever I will seek out online establishments instead with no relation to Things Engraved if this is how they treat our children the future of our businesses and our care.

I went here on Christmas eve and asked the lady to put the letter G on a necklace the lady told me she was very busy (although when i walked up to the store she was brushing her hair) and could not get it done for a weeks time however if i paid an extra fee she would do it today. When i picked up the necklace she was sitting on the garbage can again brushing her hair and couldn't find the necklace. I'm glad it got done however not impressed with the service i received and experienced.

Go talk to Kathy if you need anything done. Wonderful Lady! Along with nice staff behind her! They helped me when I had a problem (caused by poor planning on my part) but fixed it for me at minimal cost! Great place to go if you need anything engraved!!

This was my first time going to this place and it was a bad experience. The good part was the tag was good and so was the engraving. The bad part was not being told about the extra charges. For something that was to be 12 and 3 lines free and then went up to approximately 28 later and then nothing could be done. I would like to see this place have up front pricing for ALL the extra charges so that people can make a better decision to do business with them.

Not sure how this girl got hired and unfortunately never got her name. She had glasses and blonde hair and was EXTREMELY unproffesional. We asked her to cut a key for us and she screwed it up, was constantly chucking keys around very madly, and just overall seemed intoxicated. Her excuse was because she was tired. Never got the key and just left.

Was told our wedding gifts would be done by 10am the next day. Went to pickup items and not a single one was engraved and, I was only told this when we showed up, even though they had my number, that they cannot “engrave on wood”. Manager is incompetent. Not impressed. Would not recommend.
