Attended for \Doors Open\ Winnipeg. A lot of information and history to take in for a fairly small museum. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. There are many, many artifacts to view and learn about. Learn how the emergency number, \911\ was established.

Kids have always wanted to visit and we finally had the chance this afternoon while waiting for the bus. The museum may be small in terms of floor area but every inch is packed with pieces of police history and memorabilia. The kids were particularly astonished by the gun displays: everything from revolvers to Beretta's to Tommy's... and a taser. There were two elderly gentlemen manning the museum and they were very nice. We chatted and mentioned I had two uncles who were police officers, they mentioned it's in the blood and sometimes skips generations... looking at you kids ... and entrance is FREE!
