Trying to order a birth certificate for my 91 year old Aunt who misplaced hers. Contacted vital statistics by email, but no response 3 weeks later. I'm sure these civil servants are continuing to be paid during Covid, but they appear to be doing no work, or at least performing extremely poorly and providing horrible customer service during this pandemic. Perhaps some reviews and firings need to happen to light a fire.... ZERO STARS

Dropped in on Monday to get a rush on my sons Birth Certificate, picked it up two days later that is, today. Place is extremely clean and I love the architecture, couldn’t help myself but take images of the ceiling. Other then that staff were quick and sufficient were extremely helpful when I asked whether I should include the dads middle name on the form. After reading some reviews this is what I recommend. Print out the form before you drop in, and fill it out at home, if you can’t print out a form DO bring a pen. If your driving in, before you drop in have some extra change for parking at least for an hour 2.00 but in the past two visits I’ve waited a max 15 minutes, today I waited for my number to be called for 5 minutes. It costs 65 for a rush for one document, 30 for additional (if all info is deemed correct any adjustments made may cost you 30) this service takes 3 days if your picking up, 5 days by courier. For regular service this may take a max of 12 weeks it costs 30.

I suggest you order your child's birth certificate the day they are born if you want to get it before their first birthday. I registered for my first kid's birth certificate within the week he was born. When he was six months old he still didn't have it. We had planned a vacation and needed a passport. I had to pay AGAIN to get a rush order and I still had to call multiple times to ask where it was before I could pick it up. Now I have ordered my second child's birth certificate and it's going on 4 months...

I ordered a marriage certificate as I need it to finalize my divorce, I ordered on 19 November 2020 and it’s now 8 March 2021 and still have not received it. I tried to call them numerous time and all I get is recording which disconnect me, I have to say I got the whole of a lady sometime in February 2021 and she told me that they were doing or processing July 2020 applications, she was to the point and hung up, so if you are ordering from there be prepared to wait a VERY long time, the worst government entity to call in the entire country, especially that the website said 6 to 8 weeks when I ordered on line, if someone gets the whole of them, could you please ask about my marriage certificate please and thank you. People who work here try to be helpful. Had to come back though since the first time did not get right information.
